About Our Speaker:
Shel Holtz, ABC, has 30 years of organizational communications experience in both corporate and consulting environments. He is principal of Holtz Communication + Technology, which focuses on helping organizations apply online communication capabilities to their strategic organizational communications. His clients include CIGNA, AT&T, IBM Global Services, Sears, Aetna, Tennessee Valley Authority, BellSouth, John Deere, Deloitte & Touche, Hewitt Associates, General Mills, Prudential, Rockwell, Allstate Insurance, Applied Materials and Monsanto. Earlier, Shel was communications practice leader for Alexander & Alexander Consulting Group (now Aon Consulting) in San Francisco and the director of corporate communications for Allergan, Inc. in San Diego. He also held communication positions with William M. Mercer, Inc., ARCO and Transamerica Financial Corporation. Shel is a five-time winner of IABC's Gold Quill award. In 2005, Shel was named an IABC Fellow, the highest honor IABC confers on its members. He earned a B.A. in Journalism from California State University, Northridge.
