What is your role as a communicator when the unspeakable disaster happens? Earthquake, flood, wildfire, or worse – disaster preparedness experts agree that you shouldn’t be planning for “if,” you should be planning for “when.”
Scripps’ system-wide external and internal communications leaders will share the steps they took during the 2007 wildfires and lead a discussion on disaster communication best practices. Learn:
- The advance steps you can take before a disaster hits
- Effective messaging during a crisis
- The most effective tools for communicating during a disaster
- Why internal audiences can’t and shouldn’t be ignored
- The best approach to take with media; and more!
